When your child graduates from Children's Church

Look for the blue GBC Kids bags in the front and the back of the Sanctuary with a Bible, crayons, coloring sheet, and a fidget toy.

The first portion of our service includes our Pre-K to 5th graders, who are dismissed to Children's Church at a certain point before the sermon (Some Sundays like Celebration Sundays and holiday presentations we will keep them the whole service in the Sanctuary). If you're wondering how to shepherd your child on how to listen to the sermon, here are some helpful tips.

Be Short

One of the greatest mistakes parents make when doing family worship is trying to make up for lost time by taking too much time. So, parents will often try and do devotions for 30-40 minutes. Family worship should be done daily, if possible, but weekly at least. The length of time should be 10-15 minutes max.
